SERIES SUMMARY
While John 1-12 covers the first three years in the life and ministry of Jesus, John 13-17 invites us into the intimate details of a single meal that Jesus had with his disciples less than 24 hours before going to the cross. In this Last Supper, Jesus washes the disciples’ feet, foretells his death, and gives these men invaluable instruction for the events that will follow in his crucifixion. However, Jesus is doing so much more than giving them a basic instruction manual for the hard times to come. He’s sharing the truth of his gospel with His followers with great love, empathy and compassion.
